Dr. Monica Wang is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has been a small animal veterinarian since 2014. Her passion for animals started at a young age when she and her grandmother would raise baby animals together to celebrate the Chinese New Year. They raised chicks, rabbits, a kitten, and a snake  (though, she was too afraid to ever actually touch the snake). Caring for animals has always provided her with a sense of love and family.

Dr. Wang was raised with alternative medicine during her childhood in China and then was reintroduced to it in veterinary school. There, she was surprised and delighted to see animals respond so quickly and so well to therapies that did not involve pharmaceuticals. She actively pursued alternative medicine upon graduation and earned her certification in Animal Chiropractic in 2017 from Parker University and Veterinary Acupuncture in 2019 from the Chi Institute. Her passion is treating chronic disease processes with a positive outlook and helping give animals the best quality of life possible no matter what stage of life.

Dr. Wang lives in Granby with her husband Justin and 3 pups, Petie, Widget and Mac. She also shares her 4 acres with 8 chickens and 4 sheep. She loves to travel both within the US and internationally. She is planning her next trip to Japan in 2020.
